[VOICE POST]
I was going to ask how one would go about getting the sink fixed, as it appeared our well had been fouled, but evidently this is just a curse. The pink liquid is very nice, if a little too rich for my tastes. I think it's strawberry. The green stuff with black flecks in the bathroom sink I will have to leave to braver souls; I'm sure it's fine, but it looks so unappetizing. It smells like mint, which made me think of Maytera...
Raven, thank you for helping me out on Thelxday at the library; I'm glad to have had a guide, otherwise I wouldn't have known where to get started. I decided to start small, in the end. Kant seemed a bit beyond me, though certainly I will look at him again, once I have a better understanding of the whorl called Earth. That seems, if I'm not mistaken, to be the most common whorl of origin here, so it seems to be the natural place to start... Although if anyone would like to tell me about their whorl I would be quite interested in that as well. To that end I selected several works of fiction, though how comprehensible they'll be remains to be seen; some religious works; and a book about ducks.
Speaking of which, Suresh, so far it seems I am fine adopting the duckling; I shall let you know if I hear otherwise.
And... What else? Oh. [Sounding somewhat amused] As to the gentleman who suggested the Kama Sutra, thank you for your enthusiasm. But I believe my education in those matters is sufficient as it is.
Today would be Scylsday, at home; Maytera Marble and Maytera Mint and I would pool our money to buy a pigeon, perhaps, for all the Gods, or at least for the Nine. I'm still not accustomed to this; no sacrifice, no services, no teaching from the Writings for the children. I ought to do something-- though... [Murmured] Who knows if Scylla would even know, here.
Perhaps I ought to undertake a weekly fast; I've already ruined that this week, but it would certainly be salutary. And I think it would be an acceptable sacrifice to the gods. I ought to be casting Thelxday lots, as well; but I must confess, I am slightly afraid that outside my whorl they will not speak rightly. Perhaps next time I visit the library, I will research other methods of divination...
