[VOICE POST]
It has been two weeks since I arrived here, and finally I feel as though I'm starting to understand this place. More or less. I don't know whether I am more surprised by the differences between this city and Viron, or the similarities; finding the rare and often distorted commonalities is shocking since most things around me are so alien. It doesn't help that things are so inconsistent here, due to what I am given to understand is the will of the city's gods. Ours were rarely so involved, at least now; once, of course, it was more common for men to converse with them, but these days very few live who have done so.
Certainly there are some redeeming qualities, here; for one thing if I do not watch myself, I shall get fat before I return to my own whorl. And I must confess the amount of information available, with the use of this computer-glass, is a thrill. I have heard there is a library, as well, though I have yet to visit it myself. I have always liked to read, though I probably should not do as much as I have been, having lost my glasses.

So, I am curious, city-- what is it that surprised you most about this place, other than your sudden arrival in it?

She is very curious and willing to learn about almost anything.

We are both from the same world so to speak. We have both lived in Narnia.

I think she would agree with you.

Neither did I till I met the Pevensies. Silk, I am Caspian.

It is good to meet you as well, Silk. She has visited my world, unfortunately I have never had the pleasure of visiting England.

Slightly. I am still unfamiliar with many of the ways for any world not my own. A boat? Did you sail to the end of your world?

Have you a way to return home?

That certainly sounds like a tale.

Do you think that is possible? That time in our worlds do not pass while we are here? I am sure there is a way for you to return. People have been known to return home, and come back again.

As was I. What was your task if I may ask, Silk?

My tale is a bit similar to yours. I helped to regain the rights of people who had been forced into hiding after an invasion. My throne had been at stake long before this. Fortunately our efforts deposed of the usurper and Narnians allowed to coexist with my people. "Allow" isn't the best of words in this case, as it had always been theirs.
